In Episode 2 of our four-part series on navigating abuse and the civil legal system, we explore the vital role of community support in a survivor’s journey to healing. We hear from Anna Lee and Yulee, two courageous survivors who share how the Guilford County Family Justice Center in Greensboro helped them rebuild after escaping domestic violence. Sonya Desai, a dedicated advocate at the Center, joins us to discuss how she earns survivors' trust and guides them through the legal process during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Through personal stories and expert insight, this episode highlights the power of legal advocacy and compassionate support in helping survivors reclaim their lives.
