About
Alliance President Casey Gwinn, the visionary behind the Family Justice Center movement, and two dynamic Family Justice Center leaders, San Diego’s Tracy Prior and North Carolina’s Laura Lawrence, will explore effective strategies for developing a sustainable funding model that ensures financial stability and continued service delivery. Casey Gwinn will provide the Alliance’s recommended framework for developing a Funding and Sustainability Plan. Our two guest speakers will profile a government-led framework and a community agency-led framework. San Diego’s One Safe Place is a District Attorney-led Family Justice Center with strong funding from county government. The Umbrella Center in Charlotte, North Carolina is led by Safe Alliance, a community-based domestic violence/sexual assault organization.
