About
Formerly known as the Sacramento Valley Domestic Violence
& Strangulation Summit, this is a three-day multidisciplinary
training (the first day is optional) that offers general session and
specialized breakouts for prosecutors, law enforcement officers,
physicians, nurses, victim advocates, social workers/therapists,
fire fighters, paramedics/EMTs, and 911 dispatchers. CDAA has
partnered with the Training Institute on Strangulation Prevention,
the Sacramento Family Justice Center, the Sacramento County
District Attorney’s Office, Yolo County District Attorneys Office, and
WEAVE to offer this fantastic training opportunity. We have two great
opportunities to learn: a one day optional pre-conference and a
two-day regular conference.
