Pediatric strangulation remains grossly underreported, yet 50% of the time children are witnessing their mothers being strangled. If mom is being strangled, chances are children are being strangled too. Yet, little research or focus has been given to victims of pediatric strangulation. This course will shine a light on what every professional who might encounter victims of adult strangulation needs to know about pediatric strangulation. Let’s not forget the children.
